AGES/AAGL Affiliated Focus Meeting 2023

The AGES Focus Meeting was held in Bangkok, Thailand. This was a landmark event for our society, being our affiliated AAGL meeting.  We have forged a strong friendship with AAGL over the last few years and were excited to co-host this event.  Our Conference Committee was Co-Chaired by new AGES President, Dr Rachel Green, and AAGL President Dr Andrew Sokol. This was the firest meeting for our new AGES board and was sure to be a memorable event for all.

The theme of “The Modern Muse” was chosen to fit in with the location and interests of our speakers and audience. Our speakers ranged of AAGL board members (Dr Andrew Sokol, current AAGL president, Dr Shailesh Puntambekar and Prof Sven Becker) as well as some well-known AGES speakers.  We were also fortunate to have some fantastic local speakers bringing their expertise to the program including TSGE President Dr Aranya Yantapant.
