AGES Beyond the Pelvis Symposium 2023

Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, Melbourne VIC

20th & 21st October 2023

AGES BPS 2023

The AGES Beyond the Pelvic Symposium was held in Melbourne and redefined the focus of the 3rd and final meeting of the year!

COVID-19 significantly changed how we live, work, and interact with others, creating new challenges and stressors for people to navigate.  In the midst of the uncertainty, it also brought opportunities for growth and adaptation. Many people found new ways to connect with others, pursue hobbies and interests, and find meaning and purpose in their lives.

The “Striving to Thrive” theme aimed to replenish a void you may have sensed within your professional and personal growth trajectory. This meeting strived to cultivate resilience, creativity, surgical excellence and innovation, all important factors in promoting thriving.

The two-day program was written with similar diversity to appeal to the generalist and advanced laparoscopists. There were sessions on pelvic floor and infertility and modern surgical techniques. The LOC looked to diversify and update you on topics they might have forgotten about. However, sessions were also offered to provoke you to review your clinical and business practice and your personal lives! We were fortunate to have some wonderful local speakers bringing their expertise to the program that hopefully would challenge, inspire and educate you.
