MBS Changes
Effective 1 March 2022
From 1 March 2022, there will be a number of changes to the MBS. These changes include implementing the Government’s response to recommendations from the MBS Review Taskforce regarding pain management, anaesthesia, gynaecological and midwifery services.
The new changes include the amendment of 68 items, the introduction of 13 new items and the removal of 32 items from the MBS.
