AGES Clinical Research Grants

The AGES Research Fund was founded in 2003, to support surgical research in gynaecology.

AGES Clinical Research Grants

The AGES Society Research Fund has been the principal provider of surgical research in Australasia for the last 21 years.  During this time, more than $1,400,000 has been granted to over 119 research projects and there is an ongoing commitment to continue the research program into gynaecological surgery and its impact on improvements in women’s health.

Applications will be accepted from AGES members in the following categories

  • Fellows
  • Trainees & Young Fellows
  • Trainee Research: Metanalysis or Literary Review

Submissions for research grant applications from trainees are looked upon favourably and are actively encouraged, as opposed to applications from large organisations more suited to applications from larger funding bodies. Applications initiated by trainees, under the supervision of an experienced gynaecologist, will be positively weighted in the scoring.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the AGES Secretariat via email secretariat@ages.com.au or by phoning +61 7 3368 2422.

Applications open: 1 June
Applications close: Midnight AEST 31 August

Please note that only applications submitted via the link, on this page, by the due date will be considered.

Do not submit your application via email, as it will not be accepted.

AGES provides members, guests and women in general with information regarding its state-of-the-art conferences, surgical workshops, and the surgical services available in the continually developing field of minimally invasive surgery.
