The AGES Webinar – Heal While You Help: Clinician Wellbeing After Clinical Adversity, presented by Dr Tabitha Healey and Dr Olivia Ong, will be held on Wednesday, 6th May 2026 at 7:00pm AEST.
The webinar aims to:
- Normalise the emotional and moral impact of caring for patients with chronic conditions (e.g. pain and endometriosis).
- Recognise signs of burnout, compassion fatigue, and moral injury specific to gynaecology/chronic pain practice.
- Provide practical tools for emotional regulation, boundaries, and self-compassion in consults with trauma-affected patients.
- Explore how to safely hold patient trauma stories without absorbing them.
- Discuss team, institutional, and cultural supports that protect clinician wellbeing
