**This course is for members only. Please visit the members tab of the AGES website to join or renew now**
The AGES Laparoscopic Anatomy & Pelvic Demonstration Workshop is suitable for all levels of RANZCOG trainees and specialists.
It is a single day, intensive pelvic anatomy primer for those wishing to expand their knowledge of what lies beneath the pelvic and abdominal peritoneum.
AGES aims to allow access to quality anatomy teaching by providing several courses that focus on a functional laparoscopic approach to pelvic anatomy. The demonstration course allows for thirty registrants to participate in lectures, watch live surgery and interact with highly skilled laparoscopic surgeons as they delve into the anatomical aspects of the female pelvis.
The dissection is performed on female fresh frozen donors at the Medical Engineering and Research Facility (MERF), Queensland University of Technology (QUT) facility in Brisbane.
Highly interactive presentations are followed by relevant focused dissections. These are performed on six compartments of the pelvis and abdomen.
All participants will be provided with pre-reading and copies of the presentations a week prior to the workshop.
Registrants can expect to increase their anatomical knowledge and awareness allowing for improved surgical confidence and outcomes and reduced patient complications.
Registrations are now open!
