AGES Board 2025 - 2027

A/Prof Erin Nesbitt-Hawes
As a graduate of the first AGES advanced training program in 2013, I have been actively involved with AGES as a society and am seeking to serve on the Board as an ordinary member for 2025. My previous roles include being a member of the AGES Education committee for five years (developing the curriculum and implementing examinations as part of the advanced laparoscopic training program), participating in the organising committee of the 2020 AGES ASM, and serving as the Scientific Chair of the 2023 AGES ASM.
I currently hold the positions of AGES Unit Director and Director of Benign Gynaecology at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney. My dedication to training has facilitated the expansion of AGES training opportunities at our site. Additionally, my research focus is highlighted as the clinical lead of the GRACE research unit at UNSW, and attainment of my PhD with over 50 publications and presentations at national and international conferences. I am currently on the organising committee of the upcoming 16th World Congress of Endometriosis as the stream lead for endometriosis surgery as well as the chair of the social committee.
I aim to serve on the Board to support the continued success of AGES as a society, enhance and expand training opportunities, and collaborate with AGES trainees and fellow members to develop programs and initiatives that benefit the entire community.
