The United States has seen a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases\, therefore Jubilee can offer significant insight from her experience. Dr Brown will be addressing a number of issues including the safety of surgery\, most specifically MIS in COVID-19 cases.  \n\n\n\nThe second presenters include Dr Belinda Lowe\, Dr Rebecca Szabo and Prof Victoria Brazil\, simulation experts from Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Dr Belinda Lowe\, RANZCOG Fellow\, Dr Rebecca Szabo (speaker at the AGES ASM 2020)\, RANZCOG fellow and Prof Victoria Brazil (also a speaker at the AGES ASM 2020) is an ACEM fellow. All are simulation experts and they will run through a scenario of donning and doffing PPE and theatre preparedness for gynae emergencies with COVID-19 so we can best protect ourselves during surgery. \n\n\n\nOur last speaker of the evening is Julie O’Reilly from William Buck. Julie will walk you through the government assistance for practices during this time\, and help you understand the financial assistance policies that will keep you running. \n\n\n\nBelow are the details of the Webinar and how to register. DESCRIPTION:AGES will be holding another educational webinar in conjunction with Avant to keep all AGES members up to date with current information relating to COVID-19. \n\n\n\nOur next webinar will be held on Thursday\, 16th April 2020 from 7.00pm – 8.00pm AEST and will focus on issues relating to Telehealth: \n\n\n\nSimilar to our last webinar\, you can choose to register for this webinar and join live on the evening to be involved in Q&A\, or alternatively watch it later through the members section of our AGES website\, where a recording will be available to view. \n\n\n\nThe webinar will feature three sessions surrounding telehealth: \n\n\n\nGEORGIE HAYSOM – AVANT\n\n\n\nTelehealth in our current environment offers medical practitioners a significant amount of flexibility. There are however several medico-legal and practical considerations. This webinar will review best practices when engaging in a telehealth consultation and discuss the option in relation to our current climate. \n\n\n\nMARGARET FAUX – SYNAPSE MEDICAL\n\n\n\nMargaret will discuss issues around the new COVID MBS billing items and the impact on daily practice. She will also offer practical tips and advice on how to remain Medicare compliant and will touch on Medicare billing issues arising from having public patients in private hospitals during the COVID emergency. \n\n\n\nEXPERT PANEL DISCUSSION\n\n\n\nPanel chair\, Michael Wynn-Williams (AGES) will be joined by Gino Pecoraro (President\, NASOG)\, Catarina Ang (NASOG)\, Kirsten Connan (AGES)\, Georgie Haysom (Avant) & Margaret Faux (Synapse Medical) to discuss the latest changes relating to Telehealth in today’s current climate. \n\n\n\nBelow are the details of the webinar and how to register.
