Dr Helen Green
Dr Helen Green is a Gynaecological Oncologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of women with cancerous or precancerous gynaecological conditions.
A graduate of the University of Queensland, Helen completed her specialist training in Gynaecology at the Gold Coast University Hospital. She subsequently gained a Certificate of Gynaecological Oncology after training at GCUH, the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse (Sydney) and King Edward Memorial Hospital (Perth). Helen continued working as a specialist in Perth, before returning home to the Gold Coast in 2017. She is currently working as a staff specialist at the Gold Coast University Hospital and privately as the director of Embrace Gynaecology.
Helen’s other interest is the use of minimally invasive surgery to treat a range of benign and malignant conditions. She is particularly passionate about advances in gynaecology that promote improved quality of life for her patients.
Helen is a member of ANZGOG and ASGO and serves as a member of the ANZGOG cervical cancer research group. She is the early career representative on the RANZCOG CGO subcommittee. Helen is also the chair for gynaecological morbidity and mortality at Pindara Private Hospital.
