A/Prof Anusch Yazdani
A graduate of the University of Queensland (MBBS Hons), Anusch completed his specialisation in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG) in Brisbane. Following a fellowship in minimally invasive pelvic surgery in Sydney under A/Prof Alan Lam, he returned to Brisbane in 2002 to develop tertiary referral units in minimally invasive surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Mater Hospitals. In 2006, he completed his subspecialisation in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), resulting in unique subspecialist qualifications in reproductive endocrinology, fertility and minimally invasive surgery.
Anusch joined QFG in 2008 as Director of Clinical Research and Development and continues in his roles as a Visiting Medical Officer to the to a number of public and private hospitals, Associate Professor to the University of Queensland, Councillor of RANZCOG and, now, President of AGES.
His philosophy of evidence-based, yet individually tailored care led to the foundation of Eve Health Australia, a private women’s health centre in Brisbane.
Anusch is the Program Director for both the CREI and the AGES accredited training programs in Brisbane. He is widely published in peer reviewed journals and has co-authored numerous textbooks in pelvic surgery and reproductive endocrinology.
