Applied Medical Advanced Laparoscopic GYN Master Class

University of Melbourne Advanced Laparoscopic GYN Master Class In association with renowned local and international faculty we offer this one day Advanced Laparoscopic GYN Master Class. Participants will explore laparoscopic, single site and reduced port surgery for Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, Oophorectomy and other Gynaecologic procedures. The program includes: a didactic session with video presentations, a lab practicum using fresh frozen cadavers, along with Laparoscopic Trainers to practice suturing techniques.

Objectives:

Explore minimally invasive tools and techniques: including how the GelPOINT advanced access platform enables single site surgery:

  • Instrumentation
  • Camera operation
  • Trocar placement
  • Indications and limitations
  • Visualization and instrument manipulation
  • Patient selection, benefits, risks and challenges
  • Integration into clinical practice

CPD Points
